i'm on auto pilot mode today. i'm sitting in my office but my mind is wandering. i feel i'm floating. this is what you get when you just had 1-1/2 hours of sleep (nap?) over a 28-hour period. no amount of coffee can offer salvation for my predicament now.
i'm struggling to keep my eyelids open. i'm trying hard though. because the last thing i need right now is a memo saying i was sleeping on the job.
i'm actually hallucinating. my keyboard looks like a pillow. i could just imagine falling face-flat on it.
o.k. pop quiz: top 5 things to do to stay awake at the office because you only had 1-1/2 hours of sleep for the past 28 hours:
1. drink coffee.. lots of it (since 8am, i downed 5 mugs already). if this doesn't work, then munch a spoonfull of extra strong instant coffee granules (no water, no water)
2. listen to music... not those easy-listening, soft acoustic type. listen to korn, papa roach, rage against the machine, green day (green day?), audioslave, if you have the rararities volume 1 cd.. pop it in. stay away from anything gay.. like john mayer
3. take off your socks and stick 'em up your nose
4. apply some wasabi sauce to the corners of your eyes. it'll burn like hell, but at least you're awake.
5. pour some lighter fluid on those tiny hair follicles residing between your balls and your ass. then burn each strand in rapid succession.
i'm out.
